By accessing or using the Empire Buddies website, placing a purchase order, or otherwise dealing with our team, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our site.

Empire Buddies is a curated secondhand marketplace offering pre-loved clothing, shoes, bags, baby & kids wear, glasses and more. We act as the seller and point of contact for the items listed on this website, and every purchase order is arranged and confirmed personally by our customer-service team.

When you place a purchase order on our site, you make an offer to purchase the selected pieces. Your order is not a completed sale until it is confirmed by our customer-service team (by live chat, email or phone).

• Placing an order opens a live chat with our team, who confirm availability, arrange payment through approved channels and complete your purchase personally.
• All prices are displayed and may be shown in different currencies for convenience. The amount payable is confirmed with you before your order is completed.
• We may decline or cancel an order where an item is no longer available, where the details given are incomplete, or where we suspect misuse of our services.

We want you to love every piece you choose. If anything isn't right, you may request a return within 5 days of receiving your order, subject to the conditions below and our Privacy Policy.

• Items must be returned unused, unworn and in their original condition, with any tags and packaging intact.
• Return requests must be raised with our customer-service team within the 5-day window; photographs may be required to confirm condition.
• Intimate items (earrings, socks) and items that have been washed, worn or altered cannot be returned for hygiene reasons except where defective.
• If an item is defective or not as described, please contact us immediately and we will make it right.

Prices are displayed in a default currency and may be converted into others for convenience using live rates. Converted amounts are estimates for reference; the final amount is confirmed with you before any order is completed. We are not liable for currency fluctuation between display and confirmation.

We never ask you to enter payment card details on our website. Payment for your purchase order is arranged directly with our customer-service team through secure, approved channels after your order is confirmed. Never send card details, passwords or bank information through live chat.

All items are secondhand and are described in good faith with honest condition grading ("Like New", "Excellent" and so on). Minor signs of previous use consistent with the listed grade should be expected. Photographs are representative, and slight variations in colour or shade may occur due to screens and lighting.

Where an account is offered, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or use it in a way that harms others or our services.

The Empire Buddies name, logo and all site content, graphics and branding are our property unless stated otherwise. You may not reproduce, redistribute or use them for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Empire Buddies will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or from any purchase order, except where caused by our negligence or where liability cannot be excluded by law. Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the value of that order.

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
